Cornerstone Newbuild Medium is a dry ready mixed multipurpose hydraulic lime mortar and render for general building and pointing work or as a finishing render within an appropriate render system. Available in the colour buff. Note: Cornerstone Newbuild Medium was previously known as Newbuild Fine.

As part of the Cornerstone Newbuild range for contemporary sustainable construction, this multipurpose ready-mixed natural hydraulic lime mortar features a refined balance of strength, breathability, and flexibility.

Manufactured by Cornerstone utilising hydraulic lime, natural sands, and additives to enhance physical and mechanical characteristics to create a high-performance mortar and finishing render. Designed to meet the demands of contemporary construction, Newbuild Medium features the benefits of pure lime mortar whilst retaining the high strength associated with a modern mortar or render. Available as standard with Saint-Astier® HL5. Other binders and mix ratios are available upon request.

Well-suited for stonework, brickwork or render applications or contemporary projects looking for a contemporary lime and cement render or mortar with the aesthetic of a traditional lime mortar.

For the best consistency, ensure to acquire a sufficient amount of material with your order to avoid batch-to-batch variation.

A 25kg bag yields approximately 15 litres of lime mortar or render. For rendering, this covers roughly 2m² at a 7.5mm thickness. For pointing, this will fill roughly 2m² at a 7.5mm depth
