Breathable Natural Hydraulic Lime Tile and Brick slip Adhesive for internal
applications 

Saint Astier Kholao Colle is a high-performance, cement-free tile adhesive
formulated with natural hydraulic lime, mineral fillers, and specialist additives.
Designed for use with terracotta tiles, stone slabs, flagstones, brick or stone slips. It offers excellent adhesion while maintaining breathability, making it ideal for heritage restoration and eco-conscious construction.

Usage:

Kholao Colle is particularly recommended for use on breathable Limecrete floors and walls in traditional buildings, conservation projects, and new builds where cement-based adhesives would compromise moisture movement.

How to Mix:

• Mix with clean water using a mechanical paddle mixer until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
• Allow to rest for 5 minutes before remixing.
• Pot life approx. 30 minutes.

How to Apply:

• Apply using a notched trowel appropriate to tile size.
• For large tiles or uneven backs, use the double buttering method to ensure full
  coverage.
• Beat tiles gently with a mallet to bed them firmly into the adhesive.
• Allow 24 hours before grouting or foot traffic.
• Recommended working temperature: between 5°C and 30°C.

Coverage:

Coverage varies depending on tile size and trowel notch: Approx. 3.5 to 8 kg/m².

Curing and Storage:

Store in a dry place. Shelf life: 12 months in unopened packaging.
Protect freshly laid tiles from frost, direct sun, and heavy rain during curing.
