Celebrate International Woman's Day with a hands-on Ladies Training Day in repointing, plastering and rendering.

Join us for a fun, supportive training day designed just for woman who want to learn practical DIY and trade skills in a relaxed, friendly enviroment. Our experienced tutor Ian Womersley will guide you step-by-step through essential techniques, giving you the confidence to tackle your own projects - No prior experiance needed.

What the course covers:

• Various Lime Mortars/Plasters/Render
• Surface preparation
• Mixing various products
• Pointing techniques
• Applying mortar to joints
• Harling techniques
• Application of insulating render/plaster
• Application of basecoat render/plaster
• Application of finishing render/plaster
• How to cure

Location & Time

This course is held onsite at Womersleys Ltd, Ravensthorpe Indust Est, Low Mill Lane, Ravensthorpe, West Yorkshire, WF13 3LN, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Please arrive ten minutes early to check in. Limited spaces are available, with a maximum of 12 participants per course.

Clothing & Footwear

Attendees should wear practical clothing and footwear suitable for hands-on work that you don't mind getting a bit mucky! Warmer layers are recommended as the warehouse gets cold.

Afternoon style lunch, Prosecco, hot drinks and water will be served; please note any dietary requirements as needed when signing up.
