Lime Training for Architectural Students

Womersleys was pleased to supply lime training to architecture students at Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley. The day covered the history and the correct specification of lime binders and aggregates as well as an understanding of traditional building construction.

The practical session involved preparing and pointing a stone wall with lime mortar that had previously been pointed with cement with damaging consequences.
